Hepla® PA6

Hepla® PA6 enjoys many advantages, such as thermoplasticity, lightweight, good toughness, high strength, excellent resistance to impacts and abrasion, good processability and anti-solubility. It has been widely applied.


Hepla® PA6 is a tough, wearable material that has more beautiful exterior and better processability than those of nylon 6/6. Besides, Hepla® PA6 has low modulus, and can absorb water faster than nylon 6/6. When added water as a plasticizer, Hepla® PA6’s tensile strength and rigidity will decrease while its elongation and impact resistance will increase obviously.

Hepla® PA6 performance comparison of different grades

The excellent properties of Hepla® PA6 series materials have determined its wide use space and have become one of the well-known materials. Hepla® PA6 series materials have the advantages of other thermoplastic engineering plastics in terms of temperature resistance, toughness, impact resistance and wear resistance, and have high cost performance and application value.
 
Moreover, Hepla® PA6 series materials have certain advantages in hygroscopicity. According to the existing application cases, we can know that the disadvantage of PA6 is that in the environment of water or moisture, the injection molded parts will absorb a certain amount of water to different degrees according to the relative humidity, time, temperature and wall thickness, resulting in The size will slightly expand, affecting performance. Through reasonable modification, Xinfuda's engineers can significantly reduce the moisture absorption rate of Hepla® PA6 base resin, which has a lower moisture absorption rate than similar materials.
 
Of course, hygroscopicity is not without merit. As the moisture increases, the impact resistance of Hepla® PA6 material will increase to some extent. You can contact Xinfuda engineers to modify the materials according to your application requirements. To meet the needs of your product.
