Tepla® PAEK

Tepla® PAEK is a class of high-performance specialty plastics with outstanding performance and a good balance of performance and price. This kind of material can not only withstand higher temperature, but also is an ideal material for making high-temperature parts. At the same time, this kind of material also has the ductility, toughness, wear resistance and outstanding thermal oxidation stability which are not possessed by general materials. Under certain conditions, its continuous use temperature can exceed 250 ° C (ie, long-term exposure to such high temperatures can still retain a certain strength and rigidity). Due to the balance of material properties and price, some grades of Tepla® PAEK series materials are often used in place of PEEK materials for better performance and a more reliable price advantage.

Tepla® PAEK performance comparison of different grades
The Tepla® PAEK series is a cost-effective material with properties similar to those of PEEK. However, within a certain range, Tepla® PAEK series materials have advantages in ductility, toughness, tensile yield elongation and tensile elongation at break compared to PEEK materials. You can choose the model that suits you according to your needs.
