Tepla® TPI

Tepla® TPI features high strength and rigidity, excellent creep resistance, and chemical resistance. It can be used for a long time at elevated temperatures. Even under high pressure and at fast speed, Tepla® TPI can still maintain valuable properties of wear resistance, electrical insulation, flame retardancy, high purity and airtightness (in vacuum environment), low temperature resistance. Either as a structural material or as a functional one, Tepla® TPI has been fully recognized as the material with great application prospects. Because of its prominent characteristics and synthesis effects, it is now known as "protion solver".

Tepla® TPI performance comparison of different grades

The Tepla® TPI series of materials are excellent composites that have long been at the top of the plastic pyramid. Not only that, but after modification, it will obtain modified materials with higher performance than the original grade according to the added components, which can meet your various high performance requirements. The figure below shows the change in properties after adding glass fiber and carbon fiber modification. The data measured by the ATSM experimental method are compared as follows.

 

 


Comparison of heat distortion temperature between Tepla® TPI and several different materials

The short-term thermal properties of the material can be judged by measuring the heat distortion temperature (ATSM D648). When the heat distortion temperature is reached, the sample will undergo some deformation under constant pressure (1.8 MPa) and constant temperature rise. The following picture shows the thermal deformation temperature of Tepla® TPI after adding 30% glass fiber modification with other high temperature specialty plastics after adding 30% glass fiber modification. From the figure we can clearly see that Tepla® TPI can withstand more High temperature.

 

 

 

Comparison of impact strength of different grades of Tepla® TPI IZOD

Impact testing is designed to investigate the material properties under specific impact conditions and to estimate the toughness of the material within the limits allowed by the test conditions. The graph below shows the IZOD impact strength of Tepla® TPI at 23 ° C, 1/8 inch (3.2 mm).
The following figure shows the change in impact strength of Tepla® TPI series materials after adding glass fiber and carbon fiber modification. The experimental data are compared as follows.
